About Harriert

With more than 9 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping college students understand French in a clear, simple, and enjoyable way. My teaching style focuses on communication, consistency, and creative methods that make learning less stressful and more engaging. I believe that students learn best when lessons feel meaningful, so I design activities that connect French to real-life situations. I include modern tools like online exercises, digital flashcards, audio recordings, and short interactive tasks. These help students strengthen pronunciation, expand vocabulary, and build confidence in speaking. I also use practical examples, visual aids, and guided conversations that help students understand grammar without feeling overwhelmed. Since every learner is different, I create personalized study plans based on each student’s needs. Whether it is exam preparation, academic writing, or building fluency, I guide them step by step and offer regular feedback. My goal is to help students grow their skills at a comfortable pace while staying motivated and focused.

My teaching methodology for French is built on Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and strong Time Management. I believe that language learning becomes successful only when students feel encouraged, confident, and supported. That is why I always start by understanding the learner’s goals, whether they want to improve speaking, prepare for exams, strengthen grammar, or build vocabulary. Once I know their needs, I create a clear learning plan that guides each lesson with purpose and structure.

Motivation is a key part of my sessions. I use positive reminders, achievable tasks, and small milestones to keep students excited about their progress. Many learners feel nervous when speaking a new language, so I create a safe and friendly space where mistakes are treated as learning steps, not failures. This helps students feel confident and willing to participate actively.

Communication is at the center of my method. I use real-life conversations, common scenarios, and simple dialogues to help students speak naturally and correctly. I encourage them to express themselves, even with basic words, so that communication becomes a habit. Listening activities, pronunciation practice, and discussion-based tasks also help build fluency.

Creativity brings variety to each lesson. I use stories, examples, visuals, and activities that make learning more interesting. Instead of teaching French in a strict, textbook-only way, I mix different methods so that students stay engaged. This also helps them connect the language with real situations.

Time Management is important for steady results. I plan each lesson with a clear structure and make sure every minute adds value. I also teach students how to organize their study time at home so they can continue improving even outside class.

Along with French, I can teach related subjects such as basic grammar support, beginner linguistics, cultural studies, and other language-related areas. My goal is always to help students learn in a simple, enjoyable, and effective way.
