About Teagan

I am a certified art educator with a dual background in Illustration and Art Education, and I currently teach middle and high school students in a classroom setting. Alongside my teaching career, I work as a professional artist, creating commissioned pieces and exhibiting my work in local and regional spaces. This combination of classroom experience and real-world practice allows me to offer students both strong technical instruction and insight into how art exists beyond school.

I have extensive experience working with a wide range of learners, including beginners, developing artists, and students preparing for advanced coursework or portfolios. My teaching is rooted in clear communication, patience, and high expectations, ensuring that each student feels supported while also being challenged to grow.

As an educator, I am highly organized, reliable, and intentional in my lesson planning. I create structured sessions that maximize learning time while still allowing space for creativity and individual expression. About the lesson

As a certified art teacher and professional illustrator, my approach to tutoring is rooted in building both technical skill and creative confidence. I believe every student is capable of creating meaningful artwork, and my role is to guide them with structure, encouragement, and clear, personalized instruction.

My teaching method combines demonstration, guided practice, and individual feedback.
