About Grace
English was always my favourite subject growing up and continues to be today. I have just finished the third year of my degree where I obtained a 2:1.Whilst English is my main passion, I also took both History and Philosophy at A Level and am available to teach GCSE level and below. Enthusiasm, creativity and energy are what you'll get from me as a tutor. I am also more than happy to travel.

During my time as a tutor, I have invested time and effort into making sure that my lessons are creative, fun and ultimately interesting. I strive to ensure that my pupils want to learn what I'm teaching them and I believe creating an enthusiastic and creative environment will help them to enjoy and achieve. Before I volunteered as a tutor this year, I was employed by a previous teacher of mine to go into Devon schools and teach GCSE syllabus. I am very aware that individual students have different ways of learning and points of interest and always aim to establish these before I work with them, to try and ensure the best experience and best grades possible. Ultimately, tutoring is a two-way system and I fully believe that unless the pupil's voice is heard the process won't function fully, hence, I strive to ensure that their interests and way of learning are adhered to.
