About Swan
I am a passionate, empathetic, and results-driven tutor specializing in all English subjects. I prioritize my students' needs, ensuring that every lesson plan is personalized to suit their learning style and goals.
I am currently a student at Cornell University, where I serve as a Teaching Assistant for three different classes. Having grown up in both Tampa, Florida, and Seoul, South Korea, I attended some of the most competitive high schools globally. With over four years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students of all ages across various English subjects.
My strongest subjects are Grades 1-12 English, Essay writing, Essay proofreading, college admissions consulting, business writing and speaking, SAT Test Prep, and TOEFL Test Prep.
I am dedicated to being a tutor who not only knows how to teach but also loves to teach, ensuring a supportive and effective learning experience for all my students.

I adjust my English lessons for every student I come across. I have taught individuals and classes, online and in-person, younger students to adults. After an initial consultation with my student, I devise a personalized lesson plan and adapt as we go.
I focus on efficiency and learning -- with my lessons, I have helped students get into college, earn awards, get promoted, deliver presentations, increase their SAT scores from a 1390 to 1540, get A+s in classes, and adjust to their study-abroad careers.
