About Laura
Music found me through late nights spent listening to records in my bedroom. You deserve a mentor who understands how to play the songs currently on your playlist.
I hold a BFA Contemporary Music Performance degree. After 13 years in this industry, I focus on helping adults and teens.
My students often start with no experience at all. I treat the piano as a tool for actual performance. We integrate rhythm and theory into every single session. My approach keeps things simple and honest.

Real world skills beat rigid theory books every single time. 90 percent of players struggle with dynamics until they stop thinking like students. We start with a diagnostic playing assessment to build your plan. We fix posture and hand position early.
You learn jazz improvisation and ear training through tracks you love. We tackle memorisation techniques together. You will gain confidence with pop styles. Your musical goals remain the center of our time.
