Usually, the air in the room is filled with music while we sort out your tuning and maintenance. I integrate rhythm guitar techniques to ensure you feel the pulse of the song. You might find that my 13 years of gigging helps me explain these complex concepts simply. Songwriting and grade exam prep are common focus areas.
I adjust the pace for you. We keep things moving. There is always more to discover about the instrument.

Reading tabs and mastering fingerpicking are skills you can gain alongside me. I earned my BM Contemporary Music degree from AIM and spent 13 years playing in the Australian Latin music scene.
Being a native Spanish speaker informs my approach to rhythm and musical phrasing. I often teach guitar to help students develop their own songwriting style.
Whether you are a returning learner or a performance focused student, we will build your confidence. Grade exam candidates appreciate my technical focus. Your musical journey starts with these fundamental skills.
