About Leticia
I’ve just graduated from a Music College in London and I’m hoping to go into not just playing, but also teaching. I’ve had many different people teach me music, and I’ve found that the more fun I’ve had, the more motivated I’ll be. I want to pass this love for music (especially classical music) on, because I can see the love for it fading away in society. I want to be a teacher who gives pupils the passion I have, so they don’t face someone drone on at them about how they’re getting it wrong.

I always make certain that the pupil is having fun in the lessons. I do ensure that the understanding of technique is there, but it’s essential to keep the enthusiasm by using fun exercises and playing songs that the pupil enjoys. Often music lessons are only taught classically, but if I find out folk, jazz or any other genre inspires them, I’ll make sure to give the pupil opportunities with that (no matter the instrument).
