About Troy
I have been playing bass for over 30 years, and have toured the world as a concert lighting specialist with the biggest name acts in the music business. I have written my own original music, and to this day still have a passion for bass. I love learning new musical trends from the youth, as I instill the inspirational legends that inspired me when I was learning to play!

I have an easy going technique, with emphasis on discipline.
I will teach dexterity and begin with the fundamentals. Notes on the open strings, and fretboard. Exercises geared towards training the ear.
I am very observant and can see a student's strengths, and what they gravitate to, ie; musical styles, finger, picking, on non-fret hand.
I am entry level tutor, some theory. I have a heavy concentration on fundamentals.
