About Corin
I am a computer science student at the University of York with experience teaching maths and sciences to GCSE level. The majority of my programming experience has been in Python, Java and TypeScript but I am comfortable with a number of other languages and happy to work with any language you require. With a 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-level Computer Science (both AQA) I am comfortable and experienced with the current specification.

My lessons are targeted towards either GCSE or A-Level students and cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science. This includes everything from programming, to problem solving techniques, to considering the societal consequences of computing. Each of my lessons will be based around a specific topic that covers a concept in Computer science, by the end of my lesson it is my aim to ensure that the student will be able to take what they have learnt and be able to apply it to a bigger problem; this ensures they not only understand a concept but also understand its importance to Computing.
