About Leon

I'm Leon, a computer science student at the University of Sussex, working towards my undergraduate degree. I've always loved maths and computing (yes - nerdy, I know), and I hope to be a maths teacher once I graduate. My favourite part of teaching/tutoring is helping students to have their "click" moments when understanding the material

About the lesson

As someone who has been tutoring for 4 years, I have helped many students achieve the results they wanted, going from GCSE grade 2 to 5 in four months. I'm flexible with lesson timings, but sessions lasting 1-1.5 hours work best, with extra, longer lessons for exam walkthroughs. I teach to understanding the content, as well as how to pass your exams, including the relevant technique.

I really needed to pass my maths GCSE and was at a grade 3, but Leon helped me get to a high 5. With their help sooner, I could’ve done the higher paper! They made maths easier to understand and were patient with me being slower sometimes. Cannot recommend enough!
