About Pournima
I am an undergrad student with a strong passion for tutoring and a prior experience of 5+ years of both within school, outside as a paid hobby, in-person and online. The world of STEM has been my favorite since forever, and getting to inspire that interest in others, making them finally understand something that they were stuck on for a while, brings me so much joy. I want to help you reach your full potential and make you enjoy Math / Physics / Chemistry / Biology just as much as I do.

I prioritize my student's specific needs, making custom lesson plans also while sticking to the necessary curriculum. I love it when they have that 'AHA!' moment and I want to make them enjoy the subject as much as I am passionate about it.
I typically do a few diagnostic questions to gauge where my student is at, and have them tell me what they feel they need to work on. Starting from there, I will formulate a lesson plan the necessary topics. Each class, I usually do a few questions at the beginning, to review last class's concepts, and after seeing that they're confident with it, I move on to the next lesson planned.
