About Maria

I take my role as a tutor very seriously and am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You can expect punctuality, thorough preparation for each session, and a respectful, supportive learning environment. Besides my academic achievements, I have a passion for solving complex puzzles and participating in math and coding competitions, which sharpen my skills and keep my knowledge up-to-date. In my free time, I enjoy developing small apps and games, exploring new programming languages, and sharing my love for STEM through community tutoring programs. These experiences not only make me a knowledgeable tutor but also someone who makes learning fun and exciting.

About the lesson

Achieve mastery in math, coding, and statistics with personalized tutoring from a top high school student. My teaching methods include interactive learning, personalized instruction, and hands-on practice, utilizing real-world examples, educational apps, and coding platforms to make lessons engaging and effective. Each lesson starts with a review and objective overview, followed by core instruction, hands-on exercises, and a review assessment to reinforce understanding. As a high-achieving peer, I relate to the challenges students face and communicate concepts in a relatable manner, backed by my consistent top grades and proven success in helping classmates improve. My lessons are designed for middle school to high school students at all levels, from freshmen to seniors, including those preparing for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and AP exams.
