Computers can be confusing and frusturating. And usually the best way to deal with a frusturating computer is to work through the problem step by step, making sure everything is working one part at a time. When I'm helping someone with a computer problem, I typically sit down with them, and explain each step of a process as clearly and simplely as I can.
