About Medha

As a tutor, I am committed to helping students understand concepts clearly and achieve their academic goals. Having struggled with math and other STEM subjects myself, I know how much it helps to have someone by your side, someone who celebrates your wins and supports you through the challenges. I am dedicated to being a part of my students’ journey, working with them for as many hours as needed to fully grasp a concept or master a problem.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor

As a tutor, I focus on combining clear explanations with active practice to ensure students truly understand the material. I primarily use slides to present key concepts and guide students through examples step by step. To reinforce learning, I integrate practice problems throughout each session, encouraging students to apply what they’ve learned immediately. Additionally, I believe that regular assessments are a powerful tool for solidifying knowledge, so I conduct weekly tests to gauge understanding and provide targeted feedback.

Lesson Structure

For mathematics lessons, I begin by reviewing slides and explaining the topic in class. I then assign homework that reinforces the lesson, due by the next lecture. Every other week, I administer a quiz to assess comprehension and identify areas that need more focus. This structure helps students stay engaged, practice consistently, and track their progress over time.

What distinguishes me as a tutor is my focus on structured learning paired with personalized attention. I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they not only complete assignments but also gain confidence in the subject.
