About Riya
Hi, I’m Riya, a second-year college student. I know that balancing school, social life, and responsibilities can get overwhelming; I've been there myself. Hi, I’m Riya, a second-year college student currently studying Calculus 3. I’ve completed AP Calculus AB and Honors Precalculus, and I specialize in helping high school and early college students understand the often confusing world of trigonometry.
My teaching approach is all about breaking things down step by step. I don’t just give answers I guide students to understand why something works. In a typical lesson, we’ll start by identifying the concept behind the question, walk through examples together, and then I’ll challenge you with similar problems to test your understanding, all while making sure you feel confident and supported.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex problems in a simple, relatable way. I use real-life examples, diagrams, and a lot of patience to help concepts click. Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up in class, or aiming to master trig basics, I’m here to help you learn at your pace and maybe even enjoy it along the way!
