About Arian
I'm a computer science major studying at Bakersfield College and I'm preparing to transfer to obtain my bachelor's degree at a 4-year institute. The highest level of math for my major are differential equations and linear algebra which I'm currently taking. At Bakersfield College, I tutor programming classes to assist students become successful in their computer science journey and to help them understand the fundamentals of programming. I believe I can help students develop their math skills to become successful in the academic journey and to achieve great things in life.

My teaching method is through constant practice and putting those practices into real world problems. For example, calculus is used in both business but also in engineering and through explaining of why we use such equations can benefit students understanding the concept. A typical lesson plan would be worksheets with many practice problems and also an explanation of what the students will be learning about. The lessons are for students who want to strengthen their math skills as they go on through upper level classes.
