About Megan

I am a Bachelor's degree in Computing student. I have been helping fellow students and those younger than me since 2017. I have experience in understanding a different point of view and can therefore help people understand new concepts and ideas.

About the lesson

I have a love for programming and finding solutions to difficult puzzles. It is my passion to help others achieve their goals and to enable them to be comfortable and proud of their abilities and skills.

My teaching method is to explain a concept, and then have the learner explain in in their own words, or to do an example on their own. This gives me an idea where he/she is struggling. I will then address this area, and then give another exercise to ensure the student understand. After that, repetition is your best friend.

I am very patient, and believe that each student has the ability to achieve great thing, once they receive the right guidence and mentoring in their life.

Everyone begin at some point. No one is born with the ability to write algorithms or to look at a problem and immediately know how to solve it. It comes from hard work and perseverance, but along this long and difficult road, others can act like your becon of light and guide you to your desired destination. I have had many becons of light in my life, and would now like to give back and be a light to others.
