About Gilbert
I am a first year student in the University of Alberta, majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I've been a programmer for 6 years and would love to teach my experience to kids curious and interested in the subject. I am most proficient in Javascript, Python and Kotlin. But the other languages I can still teach!

I teach kids the importance of programming and creating code in today's world. By introducing different projects for kids to build and add their own creativity to.
Typical lesson plans would start with a basic understanding of what programming is, teaching the basic usage of the different languages you can use. Basically, just a bit of theory. Then start teaching one of the many languages I master. Either JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, Java, or even teaching website development.
Lessons are for kids who have a great interest in programming, ages 7+. Simple additions and subtractions are required.
