About Yassin

Throughout my 4 years at university, I have learned what it takes to succeed at topics that might initially be difficult to grasp. Whether in the classroom or as part of my professional work experiences, I have picked up many skills I want to share with my students. Also being a student athlete, I know all about time management and how to balance one's life, which is often relatable to my high-achieving students.

About the lesson

I specialize in facilitating the understanding of complicated topics and making them more digestible for my students. I believe that when I am tutoring, I am not only a teacher but also a mentor who is happy to share my experiences and offer guidance. Typically, I will ask the student or the parent what they desire to work on and improve and then create my lesson plan around those topics. I specialize in introducing coding to students and helping them reach a more intermediate to advanced level that is required in university. I am also great at teaching high school math concepts. I am comfortable with pre-calc, calculus and statistics.
