About Yalini

I’m Yalini, and I’m here to help you as much as I can with your high school maths and science journeys. Many people fear these subjects because they “look so complicated” or they “have no idea what’s going on”. But sometimes all it takes is one lesson to build your confidence and change the way you look at those nasty formulas. I aim to help my students build a good foundation of understanding in everything they learn. Along with this understanding comes self-confidence. Put that together with a good amount of practice, and now the grades are improving! My ultimate goal is to help students develop self-confidence, so they can thrive in all areas of learning.

About the lesson

I introduce new concepts by building on topics the student already knows. This allows them to grasp the new concept with ease and confidence. I work through example questions with my students so they know how to apply what they've just learned. And, I give them plenty of practice to solidify their understanding before we move forward. Lessons are typically 1 hour long.

Perfect! My daughter had 6 lessons with Yalini, both on zoom and in person to increase her knowledge base and self confidence for going into her year 11 Statistics exam. She found Yalini very helpful and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend Yalini to others.
