About Alexander
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Western Ontario, with a degree in Computer Science. That said, I have a strong technical background in programming, systems, databases and networking. I also learned to be detail-oriented and a good problem-solver. Outside of school, I've had experience working in many different customer-facing roles, so I'm comfortable working with students and adults, and always encourage teamwork and cooperation.

I enjoy breaking down big problems into smaller and more manageable ones in order to understand in detail what we're trying to solve. I encourage students to break down and visualize their issues in order to think of creative and new ways to solve them. In a typical lesson, I would assess a student's needs based on what they are proficient in and where they struggle, and work with them to improve their understanding of those concepts. Through this process, I positively encourage students and make it feel pressure-free by working directly with them as they go. I intend to work with students who are enrolled in any mathematics or computer/information science courses at the high school level. Thank you and have a great day!
