About Eight
As a Computer Science graduate from a Top 100 world university with an A grade in Hong Kong A-Level Mathematics, I bring both strong academic knowledge and international learning experience to my tutoring. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence in tackling challenging subjects. I take a student-centred approach, tailoring each lesson to the individual’s needs and learning style. Whether you prefer detailed explanations, step-by-step problem solving, or exam-focused practice, I adapt my teaching so that concepts become clear and manageable. I also place strong emphasis on exam techniques, including how to interpret questions, manage time effectively, and structure answers to achieve the best marks. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a balance of explanation, practice, and review. For students preparing for major exams, extended 90-minute sessions are available.
