About Shanelle
Hello! My name is Nicole, a Computer Science graduate.
The reason I started tutoring is that I like helping students learn, achieve excellent results, be happy and proud of what they've accomplished, all while making the learning experience an enjoyable one. Knowing that I've helped students progress in any way possible is something that I value significantly when it comes to my passion for teaching. Lessons are never boring, and so learning never becomes boring!

Approach
I believe that students would learn and benefit more if they like the subject rather than being forced to learn it just because. A key learning point as an educator is understanding that each student is different. An approach that proves successful for one student, may not necessarily be the same for another. Therefore, my approach to tutoring would be to cater to each student's specific strengths, weaknesses, understanding, and speed.

Experience
I worked as a Study Buddy (Peer mentor) at RMIT University for the year 2020.
I have also been employed as a coding instructor at COBO academy, Hong Kong for the year 2021 where I taught students from ages 3 to 15.
