About Lili

I'm a programming enthusiast! I've received my Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, and currently, I'm working on my master's thesis in computer science. I'm giving lessons about programming fundamentals and more, using Python. It might seem scary in the beginning (especially with all those geeks in the field, who always ALWAYS know some stuff better than you) but believe me when I say it is so much fun when you give it a shot.

Luckily, there are millions of excellent free tutorials online. Yet, sometimes it's nice to have a one on one interaction and learn together. So, here I am, ready to give you that initial nudge you need to get started and continue coding!

About the lesson

I use all the experience I've gained in the past nine years of being in the computer science field. You might become a skilled programmer on your own, but teaching it to others is tricky. Being good at comprehending and explaining the basics of programming can be challenging when you don't have an academic background in the related area. The stretched years of University allow people to get soaked in the topic and pick it up at your own pace. I'm happy that I've got the chance to have that, and I'd love to pay it back and share my knowledge with others.

My classes are interactive. First, I give you some tips and explain some basics. Then, it's time to practice. During the class and outside, you will learn by applying methods and tweaking your code. We won't memorize the syntax of python. We use python to learn how to code. I teach you how to think like a programmer. After being done with my classes, you'll be able to pick up any language with any different syntax on your own.

The python classes are fun! She's super dynamic. I like how she doesn't have a fixed syllabus for everyone. It feels like every session is designed specifically for you because of what you've discussed to that point! One of my friends is going to start classes with her too.

I've only needed 5 sessions to learn all the stuff I needed for my project. Lili's very encouraging and experienced. I'd definitely recommend her! I'm on the right track for now, but if I need any Python sessions in the future, I'll get back to her for sure.
