About Zubiya

Hi! I’m Zubiya, a passionate and patient tutor who loves helping students discover confidence in Maths and Physics. I’m currently studying for my MSc in Financial Technology at the University of Birmingham, after completing my Bachelor’s in Computer Science. My background in technology and analytical problem-solving gives me a strong foundation for teaching logical and numerical concepts clearly.

I’ve worked as a part-time tutor for students aged 11–18, supporting them in building solid understanding and improving their exam performance. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations that make learning easier and more enjoyable.

My lessons are interactive, encouraging students to think, ask questions, and apply what they’ve learned. I believe that every student learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching style to suit their needs.

Learning with me means steady progress, positive encouragement, and lessons that connect theory with real-world examples. I aim to make every student feel capable, confident, and ready to succeed.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Zubiya, a Computer Science graduate currently pursuing my MSc in Financial Technology at the University of Birmingham. I have a strong academic background in analytical subjects and over a year of tutoring experience teaching Maths and Physics to students aged 11–18.

In my classes, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than just memorising formulas. I use real-life examples and interactive problem-solving to make lessons engaging and relatable. My approach is student-centred — I adjust the pace and teaching style to match each learner’s needs and confidence level.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows time for explanation, practice questions, and quick feedback. I also provide short revision exercises and tips for effective exam preparation.

Whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or simply looking to strengthen your foundation in Maths and Physics, my goal is to make learning clear, structured, and enjoyable so you feel confident in every topic we cover.
