About Thrishikha
Hi, I’m Thrishikha, a Computer Science graduate currently pursuing an MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. I enjoy helping students understand challenging topics in a simple and approachable way. I’m patient, friendly and happy to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and learning pace.

I believe students learn best when they understand the concepts rather than simply memorising answers. My approach is patient, structured and adapted to each student's level and learning style.
For Maths, I focus on explaining concepts step by step, working through examples together, and then giving students practice questions to build confidence. For Chemistry, I break difficult topics into simple concepts and use examples, diagrams and practice questions to make them easier to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their thinking so I can identify and work on any areas they find difficult.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adapt the lesson length depending on the student's age, level and requirements. I usually begin by reviewing previous topics, introduce or explain the new concept, practise questions together, and finish by reviewing the key points and identifying areas to practise before the next lesson.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical problem-solving and technical subjects.
I am happy to teach students from KS3 and GCSE level, and can also support A-Level students depending on the specific Maths or Chemistry topics. My goal is to make lessons comfortable and encouraging while helping students improve their understanding, confidence and exam technique.
