About Hermela Sirak

I’m a patient and supportive math tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and several years of private tutoring experience. From 2018 to 2023, I worked with learners from Grade 1 through adult level. I tailor my explanations to each student’s needs and help make challenging topics easier to understand. My goal is to build both strong math skills and confidence.

About the lesson

I teach maths through clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice, adapting each lesson to the student’s level and pace. I encourage questions and help learners build confidence by breaking challenging topics into manageable steps. Lessons are one-to-one and can be tailored to the student’s goals. I have a BSc in Computer Science and tutored privately from 2018 to 2023, supporting learners from Grade 1 through adult level.

I’ve had a great experience with Hermela, and I can honestly say she’s someone I would recommend to anyone looking for a math tutor. She is patient, easy to communicate with, and takes the time to make sure things are properly understood. What I appreciate most is her ability to explain things in a way that makes learning feel less stressful and more manageable. She is encouraging and supportive, and I believe she can help students improve their understanding of math while building confidence in their abilities. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated tutor.
