About Richard
I started off as a computer scientist graduating with honours at the University of Hertfordshire. I went straight into software support with Accenture at the London Stock Exchange for 6 years. I then decided I wanted to start my own business, so I built a small tech support company offering software and support services to locals alongside developing websites for small businesses.

Hi there, I’m passionate about all things technology. I take an empathetic approach to teaching technology. We look at what your goals or assignments are and make a plan to achieve them. My lessons are tailored around your needs and personal learning styles. We'll always find the best way for you to learn. My tutoring is focused on web development. I build sites and tutor students using the Laravel framework. I cover all areas of web development using Laravel; however, if you want to focus on one area in particular, that is an option too: Database design SQL PHP CSS HTML JS Front End dev using Vue.js My ideal student would be someone new to development, who is looking to learn and develop their skills over time, perhaps a new project, an academic course or just for fun!
