Hi! I’m Shane, a Computer Science student at Maynooth University with a passion for helping others understand programming and tech in a simple, practical way. I know how confusing coding can feel at first, so my goal as a tutor is to make those “lightbulb moments” happen — when everything suddenly makes sense. I focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills, not just memorizing code. I teach computer science in a clear, structured way that focuses on understanding the “why” behind the code — not just memorizing syntax. I adapt my approach depending on each student’s goals, whether that’s passing exams, improving assignments, or learning to code from scratch. I’m a third-year Computer Science student at Maynooth University with experience tutoring topics like Java, Python, algorithms, and databases.
