About Jake
I am a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno studying Computer Science and Engineering and pursuing minors in both cybersecurity and math. I currently play for the UNR Men's Lacrosse Team, and I am the team president and captain. Growing up, computers always amazed me and I hope to become a software engineer when I graduate. Some of my hobbies are reading, hiking, and video games.

About me:
My name is Jake and I love to learn and teach. I am the President and Team Captain of UNR Men's Lacrosse and I major in Computer Science and Engineering while pursuing majors in both mathematics and cybersecurity. The fields of computer science and engineering are currently booming and demand is high which is why I am excited to propel the young generation.
Lesson Plan:
I'm a major proponent for active learning and hands-on activities. I will introduce the topic, explain topic in depth, apply interactive learning activities, then review topic and assess the student. I am patient, personable, motivational, positive, and creative. Lessons are for grades 6 through 14. I mainly teach math, coding, and related subjects.
