About Xerco
As a dedicated and approachable math tutor, my goal is to help students not only understand mathematics, but also gain the confidence to tackle problems independently and succeed in their coursework. With several years of experience supporting students from middle school through high school, I’ve developed a teaching style that is both patient and effective, tailored to meet each student’s unique learning needs.

My teaching method focuses on building conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing it with targeted practice and real-world applications. I avoid rote memorization and instead guide students to see the “why” behind each step. I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s learning preference—whether visual, hands-on, or verbal—and I regularly ask guiding questions to check for understanding and promote independent thinking. I also incorporate step-by-step breakdowns, diagrams, and active recall techniques to help solidify long-term memory of key concepts.
