I am currently a computer verification engineer who verifies fpga designs. My workload involves plenty of programming and mathematical knowledge in order to complete tasks.In my free time,I tutor colleges from the university I graduated from. I tutored engineering and mathematics extensively during my college career. I am a self learner and am able to use the knowledge obtained to teach/facilitate other peers who had difficulty comprehending/problem solving. I teach mostly college students but can also assist 6-12th grade.
My tutoring process goes as follow:
1)I always ask the student before they attempt to work on a problem if they fully understand the chapter. This maybe any theorems, laws, or procedures. If not, then I explain the chapter to full detail(emphasizing the problem solving aspects).
2) the student will then attempt the problem. I engage by asking them questions on how to/ what they need to do in order to solve.Difficult problems usually are a build up of easier problems with the concepts still applying.
