About Craig Lee
I am a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music (in music performance, theory and history), and of U. Mass Boston (in computer science). I have 37 years experience as a software developer.
My musical compositions have been performed by the Bergen Youth Orchestra, the Portland (ME) Symphony, the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra and the Univ. of New Hampshire Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
I have taught introductory Community Education courses in music theory/history, Software Engineering and physics/cosmology.

I teach both in my home or at your location.
I believe in learning by doing, both for music (e.g., practicing and singing), math and software engineering (working through problems of gradually increasing complexity) and English (reading and writing).
My approach is gentle and supportive. I encourage learners to discover things for themselves, rather than being "talked at".
