About Jeanie
Fourteen years of refined instruction have allowed me to curate a specialized environment for piano students ranging from age 6 to adult. Developing your command of classical repertoire while integrating pop or contemporary styles is central to how I help you navigate the instrument. My DMA in Piano Performance from Eastman School of Music provides the conservatory rigor that balances naturally with the encouraging feedback I provide daily.
Developing hand independence or refining chord voicing requires a measured approach that respects your unique cognitive pace. I find deep satisfaction in watching students navigate sight transposition and complex memorization techniques for the first time. It is truly rewarding to see such growth in rhythm and timing.
