About Martin
Hello, I am a friendly, experienced and qualified tutor. I have a Bachelor in Communication and Language Arts and English, and a Master's degree in English Language. For five years I was trained in the art of speaking, listening, writing and reading. My teaching experience and my training gave me a thorough understanding of the skills tested in many international exams.

I typically start my IELTS class with an assessment of your current English proficiency, then I go on to plan a strategy that specifically addresses your weaknesses and strengthen your speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. In other to help learners who have a greater difficulty with speaking and writing, I provide different essay types and how to structure them, vocabulary to use, different structure of sentences, coherence and cohesive devices to use, how to improve their writing/speaking style with minimal grammatical infelicities, and expert time management strategy. All these have produced very amazing results.
I deliver both online and physical instruction with an organised teaching strategy that focuses on the need of the learner, a strong work ethic and a copious practice session that uses the standard band descriptors to grade the writing and speaking section.
