About Sydney
I am a junior in college, and I took piano lessons from age 5 through 18. I have continued to play in college, especially improv jam sessions at the pianos around my campus. A lot of my academic projects have been centered around music, ranging from writing about popular music and film scores to creating original music for my video projects.

When I teach people about music, my focus is on musical scales and chords, with a heavy emphasis on playing what feels right at the moment, especially in the context of particular songs or videos. I really try to make sure that the music heard by the viewer or listener conveys strong feelings.
