About Joey
I have a Masters degree in Professional Communication with an emphasis in Mediation and Well-Being. I have a B.A. in Human Services with a minor in Counseling Psychology and an emphasis in Creativity. I have worked in the private sector (finance), the public sector (University, Government), and I have owned my own business. I currently hold licensure or certification as a massage therapist, minister, mediator, and personal care assistant. I have perfprmed training and development in all of the above mentioned areas, as well as, have taught at the college level, and have homeschooled several different grade levels. I am an ENFJ - which means I LOVE coaching YOU into the best YOU you can be! I provide down to earth strategies for assessing nad addressing your personal and professional goals in context of the classes I offer.

My teaching method is interactive with some supplemental reading and activities. I firmly believe we learn through doing, reflection, and interaction. I employ the use of analogies, lateral skill transfer, association, and interpersonal/intrapersonal activities to engage, make relevant, and apply the skills and knowledge you learn from my classes.
