About Harshh

Hi, I'm Harshh. BSc Maths, B.Ed, 6+ years tutoring.
13+ Common Entrance is where things get serious. The maths is harder than 11+ — proper algebra, geometry, and problem-solving questions that wouldn't look out of place in Year 9. And the top schools (Eton, Westminster, St Paul's, Winchester) set their own papers that go beyond Common Entrance.
If you're aiming for one of those schools, your child needs more than just school maths.

About the lesson

First session — I look at where your child is in algebra, geometry and problem solving. These three decide 13+ outcomes.
We work to the exam your child is actually sitting — ISEB Common Pre-Test, Common Entrance Levels 1/2/3, or a specific school's scholarship paper.
Problem-solving questions get the most time. 13+ rewards students who can sit with an unfamiliar question and figure out a route in.
Past papers from the school you're targeting — every school's paper has a personality.
I'll push your child harder than at 11+. By Year 7/8 they can handle it, and the schools expect it.
Scholarship-level work also available if your child is going for an academic or maths scholarship.

He is really good at teaching me tricks for factors and prime numbers. I also love the tests that we do at the beginning of our lessons as I can see what I need to work on.

My child is preparing for maths GCSE this year and wanted more exam practice, epsecially with upcoming mock exams. HARSH has been very helpful in eliciting gaps in knowledge and focussing on these.
