About Adam
Hello! I'm currently a second-year computer engineering student at the University of Toronto, with a strong passion for math and science tutoring. My journey into education began during my high school years, where I started tutoring general high school and international middle/high school students. Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of guiding students to excel in subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
During my first year at the University of Toronto, my dedication to academics was acknowledged when I was recognized as an outstanding student by the dean of engineering. I've also had the privilege of being accepted into prestigious universities such as Carnegie Mellon, Rose-Hulman College of Engineering, North Eastern University, and the University of British Columbia (UBC), with intended majors in computer engineering and chemical engineering.
In high school, I graduated with a perfect GPA of 5.0/5.0, a testament to my unwavering commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, I proudly represented my country as a member of the Korean national team in chemistry at the ISEF competition. Notably, I served as the first author of a research paper in material science, investigating the use of thiourea to detect metal ions and calculate the validity of antibacterial films.
Looking ahead, I aspire to continue my academic journey and research endeavors while remaining enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and helping students excel in math and science. My goal is to inspire a deep understanding of these subjects, drawing from both my academic achievements and extensive tutoring experience.
