About Kelly
I served in the US Air Force as an Air Traffic Radar Controller where I controlled arriving and departing traffic over an air base and international airport in the northern United States. I also worked in my squadron as an Airspace Coordinator for the largest CONUS military operations area. I have since become an instrument-rated Commercial Helicopter Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor (CFII). I enjoy instrument flying and procedures because it combines my worlds of ATC and being a pilot but the view while flying VFR is hard to beat. I would love to help others discover the same passion I have for aviation and become confident in their aviation knowledge!

I have a broad background in aviation that has helped me form a good understanding of aerodynamics and procedures and I enjoy helping others learn about helicopters and aviation. I have lesson plans as I'm a Certified Flight Instructor and can pull from my lessons and knowledge to help you in the areas you're struggling with to make you a more confident and competent pilot.
