About Jirah
Hi! I’m Jirah, an M.Com graduate in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta. I enjoy helping students learn in a simple, friendly, and comfortable environment. I’m currently preparing for UGC NET and other competitive examinations, which keeps me continuously learning. Outside academics, I’m part of a professional choir, enjoy singing and playing different musical instruments, and have participated in state-level sports. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing what I know with others.

I help school students improve their English through clear explanations, examples and regular practice. We can work on grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, sentence formation, English literature, poems, prose, themes and exam preparation. I explain difficult topics in simple language and help students understand the text before preparing answers. Classes are adjusted to the student's level, syllabus and learning goals.

My regular fee is ₹700 per hour. I also offer discounted lesson packages for students who would like regular classes. The first 1-hour introductory class is free, so we can understand your learning needs, discuss your goals and plan the lessons accordingly.
