About Pooja

Hello! I'm a B.Com graduate from Delhi University, and I also completed a computer course alongside my degree. Over the years, I have personally guided my own two children through their school education, which has given me a deep understanding of how young learners think, where they struggle, and what keeps them motivated.
I have hands-on experience teaching English to school-going children, helping them build stronger grammar, reading, and writing skills through simple, patient, and structured lessons. I believe every child deserves a tutor who listens, adapts to their pace, and makes learning feel encouraging rather than stressful.
As I am currently building my online tutoring practice, I bring genuine dedication, reliability, and warmth to every class — treating each student's progress as a personal responsibility, not just a job. My goal is simple: to help your child feel confident and comfortable with English, one step at a time.

About the lesson

"My teaching approach is patient, friendly, and focused on building strong basics rather than rushing through topics. I believe every child learns differently, so I take time to understand where a student is struggling — whether it's reading fluency, grammar, vocabulary, or writing — and build lessons around that.
A typical class starts with a quick review of the previous topic, followed by the new concept explained with simple examples and real-life usage, and ends with practice questions or a short reading/writing exercise so the child leaves each session with something concrete they've improved on. I keep communication open with parents too, so they know how their child is progressing.
What makes me different is that I come to teaching not as a distant expert, but as someone who has closely guided my own two children through their school years — I understand a child's pace, attention span, and the small struggles that come with learning English as a subject. I'm patient with repetition and never make a child feel rushed or judged for mistakes.
My classes are best suited for school children from Class 1 to Class 5, covering reading, grammar, comprehension, and writing skills. I'm happy to adjust the pace and style depending on whether a child needs help catching up or wants to build ahead of their school syllabus."
