About Pavithra

Hi! I’m Pavithra, a B.Com graduate and currently pursuing CA Intermediate, with a strong interest in Accounting, Finance and Commerce. Alongside my academic journey, I’ve gained practical exposure to accounting, bookkeeping and finance related work, which has helped me understand how the concepts we study actually work in the real world.

I know Accountancy can sometimes feel confusing especially when you’re faced with a chapter full of journal entries, formats, adjustments and calculations! My aim is to make it feel much simpler and more approachable.

I believe in understanding rather than memorizing. Instead of simply telling you what to write, I’ll help you understand why a particular treatment is used and how you can arrive at the answer yourself. This makes it easier to tackle questions even when they appear differently from the examples you have practiced.

As your tutor, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions — even if you think they are “basic” questions. There is no such thing as a silly doubt in my class. We’ll work at a pace that suits you, identify the areas you find difficult and gradually build your confidence.

I offer one-to-one, chapter-wise Accountancy support for Class 11, Class 12 and CA Foundation students. You can choose a specific chapter or topic instead of committing to an entire course. Depending on your needs, we can focus on concept building, problem-solving, revision or exam preparation.

To make your preparation easier, I can also provide customized study notes, chapter summaries, personalized assignments, practice questions, revision material and concise last-minute notes**. I’ll also help you understand how to approach exams, manage your time and revise effectively.

My goal is simple: I don’t just want you to finish a chapter — I want you to finish it feeling, “Yes, I actually understand this!”

About the lesson

My teaching approach is concept-first and student-focused. Instead of asking you to memorize journal entries, formats or formulas, I focus on helping you understand the logic behind them — especially the “why” behind every accounting treatment and calculation. This helps you approach unfamiliar questions with confidence rather than depending only on memorized examples.

Each session is structured around your individual needs. We begin with a quick recap of previously covered concepts to strengthen retention, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic using simple examples and practical situations. We then move into guided, step-by-step problem solving, where you gradually take the lead in solving questions yourself. Every session ends with dedicated doubt-clearing so that you don't move forward with unresolved concepts.

My classes are also chapter-wise and highly personalized. You can book a specific chapter or topic that you find difficult instead of committing to an entire course. Based on your current level, syllabus and exam timeline, I can customize the session towards concept building, intensive practice, revision or a combination of all three.

To support learning beyond the classroom, I provide customized study notes, chapter summaries, important-question practice, personalized assignments and tests to track your actual progress. For exam preparation, I also provide concise last-minute revision notes, along with guidance on exam strategy, question selection, time management and effective revision.
