About Christian
I am a Colorado School of Mines student majoring in Applied Mathematics & Statistics with a 3.8 GPA. I graduated as salutatorian of my high school class and have had a strong passion for mathematics throughout my life.
I currently tutor a middle school student twice a week, helping build his understanding and confidence in math. Through this experience, I’ve developed a patient, adaptable teaching style that focuses on making concepts clear, approachable, and genuinely interesting by connecting them to real life examples.
I am reliable, professional, and genuinely enjoy helping students succeed. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel confident and capable in their work.

I like to tailor every tutoring session to the individual student. I do not believe that one method works for everyone, so I focus on finding the explanation style that truly clicks, whether that’s visuals, step-by-step reasoning, formulas, or anything else useful to the student.
My teaching approach emphasizes guiding students to understand concepts for themselves, rather than just showing them directly how to solve problems. This helps build confidence and long-term retention, and specifically has a great impact on exam performance.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students looking to improve their understanding of math and perform better on assignments and exams.
