About Samantha
After a recommendation from a college professor in 2011, I started working for that college as a Supplemental Instructor. This position consisted of being assigned to a specific class each semester. I would attend class with students, meet with the professor, make session plans, and then hold group study sessions as a teacher. This position required me to not only pass classes I tutored with a B or better, but that I also attend classes on how to teach and tutor, with additional training on tutoring math specifically. I also worked in the mathematics lab on campus and held private tutoring sessions off campus. Being trained in both group and solo tutoring, I have vast experience tutoring all ages, and different settings.
