About Alexa
I've been tutoring for about four years now. During the pandemic, my friends and I provided free tutoring for anyone in our area that needed it during the era of hybrid learning. I live in New York, so I can help students prepare for the New York State Regents. I'm a rigorous academic, always prioritizing my studies in my life. I'm a high achiever, having taken seven AP classes over three years, and having achieved high scores on all of them. I have a passion for math and science and want to impart that passion on my peers and prospective students.

Hello! My lessons will include a detailed explanation of the topic as well as review problems. I will not only explain the content itself, but provide a deeper understanding of why the answer is correct. For test prep for AP, ACT, and SAT, I will go through each section of the test, providing tips and tricks to the test as well as content review. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am close in age to the student and I am diagnosed with ADHD, so I understand the struggles they go through with learning, and I am willing to provide methods to stay organized and on task in a learning environment.
