About Max
I graduated Cum Laude from my preparatory high school in Florida. I achieved a 4.3 GPA and participated in 9 AP classes, achieving a score of 5 on 5 exams and a score of 4 on 4 exams. This past senior year, I studied hard to achieve 5s on both calculus and chemistry, making me qualified to help get your student to the next level.

As a former AP student myself, I have a good sense of how to best prepare other AP students for these classes and see your child's grade go up as much as an entire letter grade. Each lesson is geared towards an hour in length, with the first 15-20 minutes being spent on content review and what is in store for the day. Next, we will spend 30 of the remaining 40 minutes practicing through a variety of my material, Collegeboard's practice through AP classroom, and any homework the teacher may have assigned. Finally, I think the Feynman technique helps students internalize what they just learned. In other words, this specifically means the student regurgitating back what they learned to me at the end, and proving mastery by doing example problems fully on their own. As someone who scored a 5 on both AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry, this tried and true technique can guarantee passing scores.
