About Noah
I am a college freshman that hails from Middle Tennessee. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA and also participate in many after school activities. At school, I am taking the most advanced math class they offer with AP Calculus BC, and not only taking this class but succeeding with an A. In addition, I take the most advanced English class with AP Literature and find myself succeeding in this class as well. This includes being a leader in my school's robotics program while also being a member of my school's JCL. My main hobby is Chess and I have been playing for nearly two years. I am an advanced player that coaches beginners and have tutored other students in the past. I love to travel to different small towns to walk the city and take in an experience of simpler life. Apart from personal experience, I love helping others grasp concepts and other notions to a point of self-understanding so they can better do these tasks or assignments when on their own.

Hello! My name is Noah and I am a college freshman that wishes to help others learn and improve at math and reading. I follow a pedagogy that encourages competent understanding of subject material rather than basic facts that anybody can memorize. I believe that a process should be understood rather than just a base-line level of knowledge. Many others will provide basic facts that one must memorize but I will a provide a deeper thought analysis and comprehension of the subject. Typical lessons would involve a focused subject material or help with a certain assignment or overarching concept.

Perfect! Noah is a great tutor & mentor for our little guy Jordan! Noah didn’t rush through his work & really took his time to help Jordan understand. Looking forward to working with Noah more!
- Carolyn is a great student that simply needs an extra push sometimes to get the work done. I think she has all the prerequisite knowledge and skills that she needs, but may need help focusing at times.Noah's response :

Noah is a great teacher! He works hard to understand what the student doesn’t know and scaffolds the information for them. He is patient and knowledgeable about the material.
It is my pleasure to recommend Noah as a tutor. I have been a mentor to him for several years as part of a robotics team.
