About Emma
Starting back in my 8th grade year, I began taking college level writing courses. These courses made me question my love for the subject, however, after taking them, I am not only grateful to the teachers who pushed me, but am incredibly proud of myself for allowing myself to be pushed. Years later, with 2 years of college under my belt, I realize that those advanced courses, and of course, the teachers, made such a difference in my life and pushed me so far ahead. I believe every student should have teachers like that.

I know a great many students hate reading and writing. What’s the point, right? Well, maybe you do hate it, but maybe you just don’t understand it. Usually, when someone misunderstands something, they tend to feel bad about themselves, and associate the negativity with the subject. So, chances are, if you don’t like language arts much, you probably are lacking a better understanding of the subject. That's perfectly okay! That’s why I’m here. If you give me a chance, not only will you understand this subject, but you will develop a positive relationship with it. I promise you that!
