Hey, I am Tristan. I am a current college student, but throughout high school, I was an all-A advanced math student in advanced and college courses. I am also a current A-math student in college. I will be able to help you pick up the patterns and logic that will make math easier for you.

I focus on teaching the why behind math, not just having students memorize steps they’ll forget the second the test starts. Most people don’t actually struggle with new concepts in Pre-Cal or Calculus—they get tripped up by weak spots in foundational algebra or simply freeze on test day. My goal is to fix those root issues so everything that follows clicks. In a typical hour, we do a quick warm-up, break down the core concept, work through a couple of tricky problems together, and then have the student tackle one solo so they build actual confidence. I send clean digital notes after every session, along with clear test-taking strategies like pacing and quick error-checking. I primarily work with high schoolers and college students taking everything from Algebra II and AP Calculus to Business Calculus and Statistics, as well as anyone prepping for the SAT or ACT. Whether you’re trying to salvage a grade or aiming for a top score, I keep sessions direct, low-stress, and focused on making problem-solving feel second nature.
